Going ‘green’ for South Kensington seafood restaurant

Diespeker is delighted to have provided beautiful flooring for another restaurant design from the highly successful Brady Williams Studio.

This latest project is a new restaurant for seafood wholesaler and restaurant group Wright Brothers, created at the former site of La Boucheé on Old Brompton Road in South Kensington. The menu is based around natural, dressed and cooked oysters, with other fine seafood and daily specials available.

After completing complex conglomerate and engineered flooring for Brady Williams at the stylish Viennese-style café Fischers in 2014, Diespeker’s contribution to this latest project was a relatively simple conglomerate marble paving, in the intense green of Verdi Alpi. The marble was used in the ground floor restaurant, described as a ‘small and intimate dining room… influenced by the bistros of Paris’.

‘Wright Brothers South Kensington’ is the fifth restaurant in the Wright Brothers growing portfolio, and features a walk in oyster bar with a street frontage as well as a private dining room.
