Introducing Vision X: automated face polishing for a flawless finish
Diespeker has taken another step forward in innovation with the installation of a state-of-the-art Denver Vision X machine in our factory. This automated face polishing system for stone and terrazzo is the latest upgrade to our production setup, designed to deliver outstanding precision and consistency across every slab.
The Vision X can achieve a wide range of finishes, from the timeless honed and polished looks to more textured options like bush hammered, antiqued and leathered. Its advanced automation means it can polish an entire slab in one process, removing the need for handheld polishing and making our workflow faster, safer and more efficient.
Another major advantage is versatility: the Vision X can re-polish and restore scratched or damaged slabs, extending the life of stone surfaces and reducing waste.
For both contractors and residential clients, this investment means even greater quality, choice and turnaround, ensuring every project benefits from Diespeker’s signature craftsmanship, enhanced by the latest technology.
Vision X finishes
Polished: this is the most popular choice for terrazzo. It provides a smooth, glossy surface that reflects light beautifully and makes the most of design detail. The high shine enhances colours and aggregates, creating a vibrant and luxurious appearance. Polished terrazzo is also highly durable and resistant to scratches.
Honed: still smooth, but it matte rather than glossy, providing a more understated and contemporary look compared to polished terrazzo. This finish reduces glare, making it ideal for spaces with natural or artificial lighting. It also provides a slip-resistant surface, perfect for areas prone to moisture such as bathrooms or wet rooms.
Bush hammered: a rugged, slip-resistant texture that’s ideal for exterior or high-traffic areas. Its rougher texture provides excellent grip, making it a popular choice for external paving, steps and pool surrounds. The finish also gives stone a robust, natural appearance that suits landscaping and architectural features.
Antiqued: this gives stone a gently worn, aged appearance with a smooth yet weathered texture. It creates a sense of warmth and character, making new stone look naturally aged and lived-in. It works beautifully in traditional or rustic interiors, where a softer, timeworn aesthetic is desired.
Leathered: a matte-textured surface of the stone resembling soft leather. A leathered finish has a soft sheen and subtly textured surface (resembling soft leather) that enhances the stone’s natural colour and character while providing a tactile feel. It is typically used for steps, countertops, and exterior floors, making them anti-slip
