Our travelling MD, John Krause, recently flew to Australia to visit family (and take part in a marathon in New Zealand while he was there, of course).
During his travels, John came across an intricately designed terrazzo floor in a shopping mall in Perth.
“I was thrilled to see these designs – wonderful inlays and clever patterning. It shows what can be done with terrazzo.
“In addition, it reinforces my own belief as a terrazzo specialist that there doesn’t need to be any compromise on design no matter where the material is used. This terrazzo is in a shopping mall, which could all too easily be practical and bland. I’m delighted our Aussie friends are making much of the beauty of terrazzo.”
