Unique illumination featuring natural stone

Diespeker has been working with a young designer business to create unique table lamps featuring natural stone.

Designer Louis Jobst previously worked in sculpture fabrication before starting his own business specialising in sculptural furniture and lighting.

For his ‘Monument Lamps’, Louis took inspiration from monoliths and monuments, exploring the theory of what a column is, using simple geometric shapes to symbolise the capital of a stone column to create a formal table lamp.

Three marbles were used in the different designs:
Circle lamp: Carrara
Triangle: Granite Luna Pearl
Square: Roman Travertine

Louis sent the steel bases to Diespeker and the factory team CNC’d and saw cut the stone to fit.

These highly original lamps are made to order and available from Louis Jobst. Find out more here.
