Calacatta Viola adds drama to @Boscopizzaria.
We are thrilled to showcase our latest project: the stunning Italian restaurant Bosco in central Cardiff. Working alongside our creative partners at @Ownluckstudio, we supplied and installed over 60 square metres of striking Calacatta Viola marble.
With its bold violet and burgundy veining, this expressive stone brings a touch of glamour and depth to the restaurant`s key customer-facing areas. It is a beautiful transformation that has turned this Grade II listed building into a truly sophisticated dining destination.

Geometry and precision is the name of the game for these recently completed bespoke floor panels. We reinforced this design, creating crisp lines with our CNC machines, then filling in with the contrasting terrazzo poured around the fixed design. These are part of a larger commercial project that we can’t wait to show you more of - for now it’s not quite complete so make sure to give us a follow if you want to see the final result. A ‘bespoke’ Christmas to remember... 🥂💎
When @studiocarver asked if they could visit the Diespeker factory for their festive celebrations, we knew we had to do something special. Our MD (aka Santa Krause) let them loose in the warehouse to pick their favourite aggregates and `bake` their own unique terrazzo slabs.
It was more than just a party—it was a masterclass in material. 🥣✨
Because this was such a hit, we are considering developing this workshop-style class in 2026. It would allow architects and designers to get a better feel for bespoke terrazzo in general, and the design options available. This mammoth project was installed a few weeks ago and was a unique one for our team. Instead of cutting flat slim slabs to create shapes, these uniquely deep pieces were chipped away at creating a natural looking ‘rockface edge’, then slanted sinks were carved from the depth of the stone itself. This certainly took our team more in the direction of stone sculpting than we’re used to, but as always we’re up for the challenge! Keep an eye out for the finished project in London’s Covent Garden, with more details coming soon.
