Conglomerate marble is a durable pre-cast material consisting of marble chips bonded together with a special resin and pigments. The material is made in large blocks and then cut into slabs which can be further cut to different thicknesses and sizes. The flexible material has a high resistance to abrasion and shocks which makes it the ideal material choice for busy floors and countertops. Available in a wide range of colours, the material can be finished with a polished finish which leaves a shiny, glossy look, or a honed finish which appears more matte and less reflective but is velvety to touch. Any additional details such as grooves, insets and bespoke features can be introduced to the conglomerate marble at our factory using state-of-the-art Italian machinery. Despite their differences, conglomerate marble is porous like standard marble and hence we recommend using the material internally for kitchens, vanity tops, fireplace surrounds and more.
