Granite

Formed by volcanic activity, granite is one of the most commonly known types of rock used in everything from buildings to sculptures. The igneous rock has an enduring quality and is often looked upon as a symbol of status and strength. The mix of minerals and rocks, primarily quartz, gives the material a wide range of colour variations – the most popular of which are white, pink, grey and black. Whilst being extremely durable and easy to maintain, granite is porous and has the potential to stain unless treated and maintained correctly. Diespeker has been using the material for floors and wall cladding for over 100 years in both commercial and residential spaces. Clients are welcome to view our extensive range of slabs stored at our London showroom at any time.
