Diespeker’s bespoke skills with resin based terrazzo have once again been called into play – this time for pizza venue Voodoo Ray’s.

Voodoo Ray’s has cornered the market for ‘pizza by the slice’ – traditionally a New York foodie phenomenon that has taken the London scene by storm. Massive 22” pizzas are freshly made on site using authentic Italian ingredients – and they tell us that two slices are the equivalent of a whole 11” pizza!

There are currently three Voodoo Ray’s across the city, in Camden, Boxpark and Dalston serving bizarrely named pizzas like The Meat is On, King Tubby and The Full Moon Slice!

Voodoo Ray’s branding uses bold, primary colours, so for 50m² of new flooring in the Dalston branch, Diespeker created a bright yellow resin based terrazzo with black marble chippings to be poured in situ.

The end result is a unique, jazzy, high gloss floor that reflects well the inimitable style of Voodoo Ray’s.

And with a funky, young crowd of late night regulars who often turn the pizza parlour into a party replete with dancing, the new floor will be experiencing a lot of hard use. Diespeker’s resin based terrazzo is, of course, more than man for the job.
