We are very excited to announce that we are finalists in the Mix Awards 2024. We’re one of nine finalists in the Product/Surface category for our sustainable terrazzo, Rubblazzo.
Rubblazzo is our bespoke terrazzo made using recycled London rubble which is set within an ultra-low carbon alternative to traditional cement. Still a fairly new product, it’s been used in exterior applications, but most recently as an unusual reception island in Building C of Assembly Bristol, and also for kitchen worktops in a residential home.
Since 2005, Mix Awards and Mix Awards North have celebrated the very best of the products, people and projects within commercial interiors. This is the 20th edition of the awards programme, which reflects the dynamism, creativity and innovation of commercial interior design.
Rubblazzo has tough competition from the other finalists! Whatever the outcome, it’s great to see other innovative surfaces with strong green credentials, such as Renewed Loop textile design from Gabriel and a fabric-wrapped acoustic wall and ceiling system by Re.Wrap.
This is the first time we’ve entered so we’re delighted to be a finalist. The awards event is at Evolution on June 27th. Good luck to everyone.
