Licence to Cut

Diespeker & Co is now an approved Dekton fabricator.

The stone specialist has been granted a licence to cut Dekton Quartz by Consentina, the largest producers of engineered stone in the UK, best known for Silestone.

Described as a revolutionary, Dekton uses ‘sinterized’ particle technology to create a sophisticated blend of the raw materials used to produce the very latest in glass, porcelain and quartz worktops.

It is extremely scratch resistant, has maximum resistance to fire and heat and a reduced chance of fading in direct sunlight. Looking ahead to warmer days it is also ideal for outdoor use – the ultra-compact structure making it a great choice for barbeque areas and outside kitchens.

The Diespeker team went through training with Consentina at the Diespeker HQ in South East London after receiving enquiries about Dekton from several clients.

Training covered work including mitre cut, edge polish, saw cuts, drilling and sink cut out. The team felt the training to be of huge benefit.

The Consentina technician tested our cutting equipment and our personnel to make sure that Diespeker could cut the mustard – and we passed with flying colours.

Dekton is a relatively new material from Consentina, but clearly of interest – Diespeker’s first enquiry came from Tetris Bluu for counters and cladding for a tea point and breakfast bar. We are looking forward to future orders so we can make use of our licence to cut!
