New appointment as Diespeker ramps it up

Diespeker is pleased to announce the appointment of Ollie Head as Assistant Business Development Manager to support our drive for further growth.

He joins us after a successful career in financial PR and investor relations, advising industrial, manufacturing and construction companies in the UK and overseas.

For this newly created role at Diespeker Ollie is liaising with clients, streamlining processes and supporting the ongoing sales and marketing strategy. He is also involved in the day-to-day management of internal functions at the company.

He says “This is the perfect opportunity for me to work exclusively for a successful, expanding SME and have a clear impact on the direction and growth of the business, particularly in terms of ensuring processes keep pace with growth within both commercial and residential sectors.”

Ollie’s appointment is well-timed to help take Diespeker to the next level. Last year saw turnover soar to over £4.5M – partly as a result of increased refurbishment projects during the pandemic. In addition, we have recently opened our third site in Bermondsey to increase capacity for storage to meet an increase of around 20% in UK-held stock.

Plans to invest in upgraded factory processes are well underway, whilst planning permission has recently been granted for a major facelift to the current HQ in Ormside Street, adding much-needed space and a stunning Arts and Crafts façade to the building.

Managing Director, John Krause adds “The past two years have been a game-changer for the company. So we’re delighted to welcome Ollie to the team at this pivotal moment in our long history and look forward to his input into business development.”
