Diespeker is pleased to announce that our supported charity stem4 has been shortlisted in multiple categories at the prestigious Third Sector Awards.
These awards, now in their twentieth year, celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations operating in the third sector, recognising their tireless efforts and transformative impact. stem4 is a finalist in three categories:
• Small Charity of the Year
• Breakthrough of the Year for Online Safety First Aid™: national training programme on media literacy and mental health
• Digital Innovation of the Year for the ‘Worth Warrior’ App
Founder of stem4, Dr Nihara Krause says she is honoured that stem4 has been recognised in so many categories. “It is so important to recognise innovation and offer testament to the remarkable achievements made by our team, as we continue to strive for excellence in everything we do and to remain the leading children and young people’s digital charity.”
stem4 promotes positive mental health in teenagers and those who support them including their families and carers, education professionals, as well as school nurses and GPs through the provision of mental health education, resilience strategies and early intervention. Support is primarily provided digitally through the charity’s innovative education programme, pioneering mental health apps, clinically informed website and mental health conferences that contribute to helping young people and those around them flourish.
Emily Burt, Editor, Third Sector said: “The Third Sector Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of charities and the invaluable contributions of those who work for them. In times of volatility it is never more important to recognise the difference that the voluntary sector makes to our society. We look forward to celebrating with you later this year.”
Diespeker has offered to sponsor a ticket for the awards lunch, which will be held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday 20 September.
We wish the very best of luck to stem4.
