Terrazzo

Diespeker has been working with terrazzo since the company was founded in 1881. Today, our company is widely regarded as the UK’s (if not Europe’s) leading experts, stocking the widest range in the country.

No-one does terrazzo like Diespeker

Diespeker both imports selected terrazzo from specialist suppliers as well as creating our own designs on site at our London factory. We then use our state-of-the-art machinery to cut, hone and add detail to projects of any size.

Traditionally, terrazzo is composed of marble chippings and cement, ground to a fine finish. It is extremely durable and presents an ideal option for heavy use. We are able to offer an unparalleled selection of colours and designs, even creating a unique composition to your specification using traditional hand-casting methods.

Our traditional skills remain the best way to achieve bespoke terrazzo designs. The process is labour intensive, requiring close attention throughout. Any number of colour combinations is possible, and special additions to the mix will create an exclusive product. Come and see for yourself!

In recent years, terrazzo has enjoyed something of a revival, due to its resilience, easy maintenance and design qualities, as well as the need to refurbish old flooring.

Precision-cut perfection with our new CNC technology

If you’re investing in a beautiful, high-quality kitchen worktop, precision is everything. A worktop isn’t just a surface – it’s a centrepiece, a workspace, and a long-term investment in your home.

That’s why at Diespeker, we combine traditional craftsmanship with the latest CNC technology to create stunning, perfectly crafted worktops that are built to last.

What is CNC and why does it matter for your kitchen?

CNC (computer numerical control) machining means your worktop is cut, shaped, and polished using state-of-the-art automated technology. The result? flawless accuracy, sleek finishes, and a perfect fit – every time.

  • Durable, long-lasting quality for a worktop that stands the test of time
  • Seamless edges and smooth finishes for a premium look
  • Bespoke shapes and cut-outs for sinks, hobs and splashbacks
  • Faster turnaround so you can enjoy your dream kitchen sooner
Customisation beyond compare

By using CNC machining we can utilise cutting tools with extreme accuracy. This allows them to carve, shape, and polish stone with pinpoint precision.

The process starts with a detailed digital template of your worktop, including exact dimensions, cut-outs for sinks and hobs, and edge detailing. The machine then follows these programmed instructions, ensuring a perfect fit with smooth, seamless finishes.

This technology not only improves precision but also allows for greater design flexibility. Complex shapes, curves, and intricate edge profiles that would be difficult to achieve by hand can be created effortlessly.

CNC machining also reduces waste, making the process more efficient and environmentally friendly. The result is a beautifully finished worktop that enhances your kitchen’s aesthetic while offering long-lasting durability.
