Bespoke resin based terrazzo wows the crowds at London Design Festival

Diespeker’s talent with bespoke terrazzo was on display at the London Design Festival 2015 after collaborating once again with interior design gurus, Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead of 2 Lovely Gays. Jordan and Russell visited the Diespeker yard earlier this year to get funky with terrazzo for a photographic shoot to promote their Design Clinic at the festival.

The collaboration continued apace, with Diespeker creating bespoke resin based terrazzo in a pale blue with white chippings to be used as counter tops at the festival on the Nest.co.uk stand at designjunction, Victoria House. The terrazzo was created at Diespeker’s workshops in Bermondsey by the firm’s specialist team using exceptional skills in colouring and casting.

Jordan and Russell took the terrazzo connection a step further, commissioning shirts, graphics and giveaway bags in the same pattern. The overall effect was a stunning stand that garnered lots of interest both on press day and from visitors to the show.

An extra showcase for Diespeker came with the supply of five rectangles of beautiful marble to another stand at the show, for new Scottish watch brand, Nomad Watches, which launched at designjunction. The marble strikingly highlighted the quality and design of the watches.
