Football fundraiser

Diespeker’s MD John Krause recently attended a fundraising football tournament organised by Joel Walters from Hertfordshire.

Joel arranged the tournament to raise funds for charity stem4 after talking to his teacher about the need to raise awareness of mental health issues in young people. He did an amazing job, raising almost £2,000.

12 teams competed and around 100 young people turned up to support the event. The winners came from Highgate School and the runners-up from the JCoss team.

While he was there, John spoke about the work of stem4 – and even joined in one of the matches – albeit briefly!

stem4 is Diespeker’s chosen charity and John has himself organised and run marathons to raise funds. The charity aims to stem commonly occurring mental health issues at an early stage. It provides a variety of support services not just to teenagers, but adults too.

Well done and thank you to Joel and everyone who went along to show their support.
