Hard job but someone’s got to do it!

We feel compelled to share MD John Krause’s most recent marathon success, 4,800 miles away from home, south of Cuba, north west of Jamaica – where the temperature is currently a balmy 30°C.

John took part in the Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon which is always run on the first Sunday in December every year.

We’re delighted to report that John won in his category, the 60 and over male group. He was awarded not just a marathon medal but a funky trophy to add to his trophy cabinet.

John says that the heat made the race a bit of a challenge. Here in London we have little sympathy, as temperatures struggle to reach 7 °C. Not as chilly as Cumbria which this weekend saw really heavy snowfall.

So enjoy that sunshine John, and we hope your first ever swim in the Caribbean sea was memorable.
