07 Jan Kitchen magic as Diespeker scales the heights
Alongside our commercial work, Diespeker also provides services to the domestic market, in particular unusual and often unique kitchen tops for discerning customers.
For one such project in Kensington our popular terrazzo TE007 was chosen for a luxury kitchen. Due to the unusual length specified, 3400mm as opposed to the standard slab of 3000mm, the counters were hand-cast in the factory.
Undaunted, the Diespeker team hired a Hiab lorry with a crane to carefully lift the counters from the Diespeker delivery vehicle and deposit them on the first floor balcony from where they could be moved to the kitchen. It all went without a hitch – and the resulting kitchen looks superb.
