New Sales Advisor for Diespeker

Alongside the developments to our factory and sites, we’re also expanding our team. Earlier this year we welcomed a new Sales Advisor to the team. And now that his feet are firmly under the terrazzo table, we’d like to formally introduce Ahmed Bougrinat.

Ahmed has a creative nature; he studied interior design at the National Design Academy in Nottingham. He says he’s always been interested in interiors: “I have a passion for design – I’m often changing things around in my own flat and at the weekends you’ll find me scouring showrooms for interesting things for the home.”

Prior to joining Diespeker Ahmed was working in similar role at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour for Portuguese interiors specialist, Frato. However the products he worked with were mainly fabric based, from chairs, sofas and stools to rugs and carpets.

Ahmed says he became interested in stone products as clients often asked about kitchen worktops and saw some stunning examples when visiting friends in Italy. The opening with Diespeker piqued his interest and he was delighted to be successful in his application.

His role involves greeting clients and showing them around the showroom, looking at samples, factory tours and, for bespoke projects, discussing their ideas with bespoke guru Andy Brady. “I enjoy finding out about clients projects, and then becoming involved with them. There’s a real mix, from home owners to interior designers. It’s always good to hear clients say how much they love the website and being able to see samples, and the wealth of information we make available to them.”

Ahmed is already proving to be a really great addition to the team, working alongside our Senior Sales Manager, Sydney Robertson and Sales Administrator, Karina Carter and Head of Samples, Kelly Rintoul.

“It’s been amazing from day one, such a nice team, really friendly and great to work with!”
