The Colour of the Year from Dulux for 2021 is Brave Ground, a ‘warm, natural neutral’. It has been chosen as a colour that reflects the mood for taking stock and finding a positive way forward. Dulux calls it an ‘enabling and stabilizing’ colour.
At first glance, it may not be the most inspiring colour, but here at Diespeker, we’re big fans! That’s because we love neutrals for wall colours, as they allow lots of fun to be had with some of our bolder, colourful, dare we say ‘shouty’ terrazzo designs.
Brave Ground is incredibly versatile, perfect for any room in the house – and there are just so many of our materials that we think would work well with it. Here we’ve chosen just a few of our favourite terrazzo designs to inspire you, from contrasting to complementary.
TE007 – a classic terrazzo that goes with just about everything, but always adds a touch of class
TE074 – deliciously contrasting green base with dense flecks of complementary colours
TE114 – using neutrals but with bold, large chunks of marble to give pizazz
TE069 – adding a sense of drama jam-packed with black chippings
