Come and meet Diespeker & Co at Surface Design Show 2020

From 11 – 13 February we will be exhibiting at the Surface Design Show for the very first time.

The show, at the Business Design Centre in Islington, brings together the best in surface material innovation to the UK, with this year’s chosen theme of ‘Close to Home.’ We are very excited to be involved with the show, where we’ll be showcasing our signature terrazzo range on stand 152.

We’ll also be hosting an evening event on the second day of the show, Wednesday 12th of February from 5:30 pm onwards, to give you a chance to meet the Diespeker team and see our whole range of terrazzo and natural stone.

Stunning TE081B takes centre stage in the design of the stand both as a print and as laid terrazzo on the floor. Our popular terrazzo style TE007 will be on show too, as the surface for stools and side tables on the stand, designed by Marte Braute and part of Diespeker’s own brand ‘Diespeker Living’ collection.

The main stand countertop has been created from another standout terrazzo, the striking design TE081 which took the restaurant and residential sectors by storm in 2019. To facilitate closer study of Diespeker’s surface materials, which include not just terrazzo but marble, granite, conglomerate and more, a handy samples trolley will be available for delegates to browse – you’re welcome to take any samples that catch your eye.

For those unfamiliar with Diespeker’s bespoke terrazzo skills, the company’s ‘terrazzo in the making’ video will be screening, as well as a slideshow detailing a wider range of completed projects.

Now in its fifteenth year, the show is a must-visit for architects, designers and specifiers looking for material inspiration from the UK and around the world. With over 170 exhibitors and over 40 presentations from 65 speakers plus an Opening Night Debate supported this year by the RIBA and the PechaKucha evening with speakers including

Like Diespeker, Surface Design Show is dedicated to supporting promoting up-and-coming designers in the materials sector with its New Talent section appearing once again, curated by internationally acclaimed speaker and forward-thinking Chief Creative Director at Trendease International, Jennifer Castoldi.

The New Talent area allows designers, who have been in the industry five years or less, to have a devoted exhibition area, giving them the opportunity to showcase to and engage face-to-face with a hard-to-reach and targeted audience.

We look forward to seeing many clients, collaborators and associates at Surface Design 2020. Please do come and say hello – remember we’re on stand 152! Tickets are free to professional and trade visitors. You can register for your ticket via this link.
