Phenomenal fluted features are trending!

The clean, polished surface of terrazzo is something that we are very familiar with at Diespeker. Many of our projects require a beautiful, simplistic finish. However, there are other ways to play with terrazzo, from bending it (one of our areas of expertise) to creating a fluted design. Diespeker has been creating fluted terrazzo surfaces for some years and we have worked on some superb projects. Recently there’s been a […]

Bury St Edmunds kitchen designers K2B turned to Diespeker for terrazzo for a recent redesign that called for something contemporary. The project was for a client in Ipswich, Suffolk, who wanted the kitchen in their Victorian town house completely revamped. The brief was for something contemporary that would still sit well with the design of the house. Initially the idea was for a smart Shaker style kitchen, but as the

But rather than plump for a standard wooden countertop, they decided to go upmarket with a smart terrazzo option. Director Phil Barnes looked around for a supplier

While Diespeker’s terrazzo has been making a huge splash in commercial and residential projects over the past few years, we do have an ongoing love affair with marble. Marble is the foundation of our history, with our earliest work with marble mosaic in the late 1800s still in evidence in many locations, including the National Portrait Gallery, the London Coliseum and Westminster Cathedral. More recently we have worked with marble
